Use what you have on hand.
Can you spray paint vertical blinds.
Well i spray painted the vertical blinds.
In the next picture the left side has 2 coats and the right side only one.
The spray paint also made the strings stiff so that does affect the how easily the blinds raises and lowers.
Please look at my other video on how.
Start painting the blinds by spraying the paint in even coats using an up or down motion and continuing in the same direction all throughout the whole blind surface.
Use rustoleum spray paint it comes in several colors and will do the trick for you.
You will need 2 or 3 coats because fabric absorbs the paint very quickly and it will dry lighter than the color you paint.
However the blinds took on a little puckered look in spots.
If the fabric is scuffed up and fluffy look for a water based acrylic fabric spray paint and wet the fabric down first to flatten it.
For extra depth try lightly sponge painting them with wall paint.
I was very pleased with the paint itself.
Spray in the yard as you will mow away the paint that gets sprayed on the grass cool eh and super easy.
When deciding to spray paint what you have instead of buying new you need to calculate the cost of supplies and your time as to whether that outweighs the expense of new blinds.
Step 5 leave the paint to dry completely overnight.
It did a beautiful job of changing white blinds to pale gold or honey color.
Yes you can cover up a dark color with a light one or vice versa.
I used two trestles and some leftover wood.
It will probably require more coats though.
Instead of running out and buying a new color you can paint them instead.
And then spray until the brown is gone.
Specialty paints designed to adhere to the specific type of surface such as fabric paints for fabric or spray.
Another short video this time on how to spray wooden blinds and transform the look of your home at a very cheap price.
I let it dried a bit before closing the blinds and spraypainting again.
You just need to hang the blinds in a way to be able to open and close the blinds.
Start by getting your blinds ready for painting and then move on to painting.
