Carpeted van panels.

The back door panel. We used the kiravans easyliner 4 way stretch carpet in wheat to get a nice warm but light look to the van. We find that it helps to use cardboard or paper to make templates of your van wall panel areas and trim accordingly. We decided that rather than paneling the van walls with wood we would carpet it to get a better finish and make it seem warmer.

To install the panels we used 20 countersunk machine screws and finishing washers. Finish the nooks and crannies. Van conversion walls job well done. It looks a lot cleaner has a nicer finish and also helps to further insulate the van and reduce condensation build up while cooking and sleeping.

Wall panels are cut from your 4x8 1 4 birch. Protecting the inside of your van with a plywood lining protects the outside panels from dings and dents caused by loose loads which will inevitably lead to rust marks. The addition of wall panels have started to tie the van conversion together there are still a lot of trim panels that will need to be built and installed to give it that clean finished look. Remove all the hard board panels from the interior of the van. Measure and cut the liner leave 2 inches of excess liner around the edges. Spray the surface of the panel with a generous covering of glue. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to build out their van or any vehicle.
